BOE demonstrates a 4.7" high-resolution AMQLED prototype at Display Week 2023

China-based BOE has demonstrated a new 4.7" AMQLED display prototype, a self-emissive QD based panel.

The panel offers a resolution of 1440x2560 (650 PPI), a color gamut of 85% BT2020 and a high contrast ratio (rated at 10,000,000:1).

BOE says that the panel was produced using photolithograpgy, without a need for a fine metal mask (FMM) like the ones used in OLED production.

The company did not detail how close this panel is to commercialization.
